Doula Package Outline
- A free consultation meeting where I explain my services and answer any questions is important before you decide on any packages.
- Labour Support Package $800
- Two – four prenatal visits of approximately 1-2 hours at the woman’s home
- 24 hour on-call for two weeks before and after the due date.
- Full support in labor for up to 18 hours or whatever is deemed safe
- One postnatal* visit of approximately 1-2 hours
- Supporting a Birth only. $300
- It is far better to build rapport with a woman and her partner and get to know each other prior to the birth but I am willing to be there as a support if needed, just for the birth.
- Postnatal* Support Package $40 first hour, $30 per hour thereafter
- In your first few weeks home my job is to help and support you as you transition into life with a new baby. I will provide unlimited breastfeeding help and support if you need it. If you need groceries picked up or light housekeeping duties, it will be available to you. I am also happy to take baby for a walk while you rest or sleep. You will also have unlimited support by phone and email.
- Launceston Birth Centre
- As a Doula I also help and support the talented Midwives through the Launceston Birth Centre. When I work alongside them you are not required to pay a separate Doula fee.
* Postnatal means within first 2 weeks of delivery
