The Centre is situated across the road from the Queen Victoria Maternity Unit of the Launceston General Hospital.

We offer a spacious home-like environment with two birthing suites. Each room has been designed so that you’ll feel comfortable and very private. You’ll be attended by a midwife with whom you have formed a real relationship, and who’d accompany you to hospital if it became necessary.

We have a family room and full kitchen facilities available for your support people/family. Our birth centre welcomes your children, your parents, and your friends so you can decide who will be with you or near you as you give birth. We give you a caring and warm setting where you are supported and respected as well as safe and secure.
